Vermont 9-1-1 System Status

At approximately 2:44 PM today, the Enhanced 9-1-1 Board became aware of a statewide 9-1-1 outage. Vermont 9-1-1 was unable to receive inbound 9-1-1 calls between 2:36 PM and 3:13 PM. The system is currently operational and 9-1-1 calls are being properly processed.

Sprint Launches Text-to-911 in Vermont

Montpelier, Vt. -- May 15, 2014 -- Beginning May 15th, Sprint customers in Vermont will be able to use their mobile phones to send a text message to 911 for emergency help.
